Open Studio Description:
“We are excited to be showing a Retrospective of the paintings of highly regarded Swanage artist Stan Davis. Stan exhibited widely between 1982 – 2010 when he sadly died. He was well known for his large abstract representations of Purbeck scenes which are now held by his son, Matt Davis, formerly of 4Matt Framers.

Alongside Stan’s work, both different and yet complementary, Phil Hill will be showing his vibrant contemporary abstract paintings both Expressionist and Geometric.

For 2025 Figures and Forms are Sandy Hardwick’s theme expanding on her use of Artglass, mixing cement and fused glass for some surprising and innovative results. Perfect for outside space.

Julie Burns’ will show her inspired appliqué scene cushions using vintage and recycled materials together with Emily Clarke’s popular lampshades created from beautiful vintage fabrics.

Altogether, a feast for the senses.”
