Artist’s Statement:

“For the past 16 years I have been making traditional stained glass panels for buildings, and kiln formed fused glass art for gardens.
I really love the painting of images in stained glass, (as seen in my ‘Journey Around Purbeck’ panel) and nothing gives me greater pleasure than installing windows that delight both the client and everyone who sees them.
More recently I have wanted to expand on my garden art with a fusion of glass and cement. So, this year I am creating large concrete art incorporating brightly coloured fused glass. It is sometimes worth stepping outside of ones comfort zone and being an engineers daughter I am always trying to push, what I think are the traditional boundaries of fused glass. Expect the unexpected this year.
