Swanage Sea Front 2015

In 2015, with the guidance of Dawn Newlove, we created the second Swanage Sea Front Mural to sit to the left of the 2013 Community Tree Mural. It was designed to showcase our status as the gateway to the Jurassic Coast. Students at the Purbeck School painted the background of Tilly Whim caves from which our Stegosaurus emerges. The Stegosauraus was created at a series of workshops in local schools, including the Swanage School, whose children helped to unveil the finished mural. The Pterodactyl was made during the mural opening ceremony and added later. Many local businesses helped to fund this art which further enlivens a wall by the sea.
