Artist’s Statement:

Living and working in such a beautiful and inspiring area on the coast of Dorset, I observe and relish the quality of the light and the stunning landscapes which feed my imagination. I experiment and play with materials, emotions, the changing light to create work reflecting my experiences and thoughts in paintings, prints and collagraphs. I play with colour and light in mixed media/collage. My training in graphic design at London College of Communication has led on to my exploration of painting/drawing using a strong colour palette and various materials to achieve an emotional response to my surroundings. I have exhibited at: – ICA, London College of Communication, Arts University Bournemouth, Tithe Barn – Swanage, Purbeck Group of Artists, Purbeck Art Weeks, Swanage Town Hall, Sansom Gallery, Walthamstow Art Trail, Rollington Barn – Corfe Castle.
