Artist’s Statement:

A background in landscape architecture and pottery has progressed to a passion for pastel painting, developing techniques for layered textures and vivid colours. Most of the works are inspired by local landscapes, bringing out the distinctive qualities of Purbeck, often enhancing colours to accentuate atmospheric effects.
