Artist’s Statement:

“Using Adjoua, my Ghanaian name for my business, I get my inspiration from my African heritage and my time spent living in the wonderful county if Dorset, with its diverse landscapes and rich Jurassic heritage.

Each of my pieces is hand crafted and unique. Often I don’t know what the design will be until I have that piece of precious metal in my hands. inspiration come from life around me and the forms we see every day.

I particularly like the hammered textures as they add a wonderful dimension to the metals. I make jewellery for everybody. Anyone should be able to put on a piece of jewellery and feel fabulous!”
