“Hi, I’m Pia,

I’m a pen and ink artist based on the stunning Dorset coast. Nestled in my rural home studio amidst its flourishing wildlife, I find endless inspiration for my works.

My deep-rooted love for nature grew during my exploration of the local countryside, fostering a profound appreciation for the beauty of wildlife. I first picked up fine ink pens during a period of anxiety, finding solace in creating mindful doodles inspired by mandalas and the local wildlife. These initial sketches lay the foundation for my continued artistic development. As a devoted animal lover, I find joy in capturing the essence and personality of my subjects, blending patterned regularity with the organic flow of animal forms. Each piece is a labor of love, meticulously crafted to evoke a sense of appreciation for the beauty of the natural world.

Today, my works are exhibited in galleries across Dorset and beyond. I take pride in creating bespoke commission work, drawing on my degree in textiles to explore diverse creative opportunities. I also enjoy sharing my tranquil medium through drawing workshops. My style’s versatility knows no bounds!”
