Artist’s Statement:

Living in Swanage, my paintings are inspired by the coastal views and the activities of people visiting the town. I love exploring the use of colour working in acrylics, gouache and marker pens. Some of my time is spent as a volunteer watch keeper for Swanage NCI at Peveril Point where I can absorb amazing views of the bay and the changing seascape. Since retiring here 10 years ago I have also had the opportunity to discover art on a larger scale by creating scenery for productions at our local Mowlem Theatre.
