Artist’s Statement:

“Surrounded by stunning countryside and coast I have constant inspiration for my work. Combining my love of landscape painting with my love of animals I aim to create humorous and cheerful paintings that will bring a smile. I work with oil paints and as well as my iconic ‘Moo Selfies’ I am often working on private commissions, which can be anything from a family pet to a whole menagerie of animals. My style although in some ways can be realistic I add character to the animals to bring out their features and add a slightly comical side, certainly different from your traditional pet portrait/animal artist.
I have a permanent gallery in the centre of Swanage where I sell my work all year round and also have a range of prints, cards homeware and gifts featuring my designs, this is my full time career and I feel incredibly lucky to be able to do what I love as a job”
