Artist’s Statement:

“Jane Elmer-Smith studied 3 Dimensional Design at the Central School of Art and Design in London.
After teaching in schools and adult education Jane now produces her own work full time in Dorset.
Jane specialises in decorative earthenware. Every piece is hand built or thrown on the wheel and then decorated using slips, underglaze colours, oxides and lustres incorporating sponging and painting techniques.”
