Artist’s Statement:

“Jane studied at Central School of Art and Design and gained a BA (Hons) in 3 Dimensional Design followed by a year at London University Institute of Education where she obtained an Art Teachers Certificate.

After teaching in schools and lecturing in Ceramics in various adult education establishments both in the UK and Hong Kong Jane is now concentrating on producing her own work full time.

Jane specialises in Decorative Earthenware. Every piece is thrown or hand built and decorated using slips, oxides, underglaze colours and lustres incorporating sponging or painting techniques.”
