Artist’s Statement:

“I live in Wareham and in my younger days was a structural designer, I later changed careers to become a skipper on a Sail Training yacht.
I have painted all my life but now in retirement have had more time to develop my art. I am still a passionate sailor an use my small sailing yacht as a floating studio based on the river Frome, so most of my paintings are done en plein air.
I hope to engage you with my free flowing romantic impressionistic style. I feel very fortunate to live in Dorset close to the sea and it gives me the opportunity to share with you this beauiful place.
