Caroline – Kezmee Studio

Categories: Glass, Jewellery

2023 Venue(s): Rollington Barn

““I trained as a Middle School Teacher. After a life changing operation, I left teaching behind, taking my glass hobby to become a Glass Artist, and set up ‘Kezmee Studio’ my Artisan Glass Workshop.
I became ‘hooked on glass’ over 20 years ago, after making a Tiffany-style suncatcher, with my young daughter. I’ve always loved the splendour of stained glass, fascinated, from childhood by the play of light through the colours, be it the beauty of the glass itself or the shadows that they reflect onto the floor.
Dorset’s beautiful countryside and stunning coastline, close to my workshop/studio in the heart of the Purbecks, (the Old Blacksmiths in Creech) inspires a passion in my work. Each glass piece, is uniquely crafted using Bullseye glass from Portland Oregon or recycled glass. Some of my pieces have won awards!
I design and create eye-catching suncatchers, using traditional techniques, functional pieces from recycled-bottles, distinctive fused-glass pictures, pendants, home-accents, and large splashbacks.
You can find my work at; The Purbeck Artisan Yard, my workshop/studio gallery at The Old Blacksmiths Creech, a variety of fairs, and festivals throughout the year. Please contact me for details if you’d like a piece of unique-glass-art or attend a-workshop.””
