“I have lived on Purbeck all my life and have always felt connected to its beauty, being particularly inspired by the small details. After years as a photographer my work is now largely digital textile design. It all begins from my own original photographs and is reworked into designs using Photoshop.
I love to play around with the familiar transforming flowers, leaves and insects into pretty geometric shapes and pattern, interjecting stripes and lace into the mix. Then deciding which designs would work best as a scarf, cushion or bag and choosing quality luxurious silk and velvet fabrics for them.
I am also interested in interior design and renovating old furniture; mixing my love of up cycling with my contemporary designs, creating something new from something old. Bespoke commissions are most welcome.”
