Artist’s Statement:

“Grange Gallery is a welcoming, stylish place to visit and be inspired by local high-quality art & design across two ground floor spaces of a Georgian building. Founded by Jason Cameron, Master Furniture Maker & Designer and Esme James, Contemporary Artist & Designer, Grange Gallery was previously located on the Isle of Purbeck. Together they showcase their art and furniture as well as their collaborative range of homeware, lighting, jewellery & gifts alongside the works of selected local artists and makers.

Located in a recently restored Georgian town house with a fairy-tale shop façade, the gallery is conveniently situated in the heart of Wareham. Esme and Jason saved the Georgian town house from further disrepair in 2022 and both spent 2023-24 carefully conserving and restoring the Grade II* façade and the redbrick former barn accessed via the courtyard. The town house provides Esme and Jason with their home, the Cameron Furniture Workshop, Esme’s Art Studio, Grange Gallery and Cameron Furniture Showroom.

They are open all year round and both look forward to welcoming visitors and clients to Grange Gallery where you can browse their own creations, discuss art and furniture commissions, enquire about workshops and forthcoming exhibitions.”
