Artist’s Statement:

“Glenn was inspired to paint at a young age by his father, an artist himself. Encouraged and guided by his father, Glenn took up painting.
At senior school Glenn studied A level art with the intention of attending art college, but circumstances led him to study and practice law instead. enjoying painting as a pastime. When Glenn retired he decided to follow his dream of painting full time as an artist.
Glenn employs a diverse range of media in his art, including oils, pastels and ink with watercolour and acrylic paints serving as his primary mediums.
Glenn’s artistic expression encompasses various subjects, such as, still life, animals, flowers, fauna, houses and abstract compositions. However, his primary focus lies in capturing the essence of nature’s beauty, in the creation of landscape paintings, particularly of landscapes in Hertfordshire, Essex, Dorset and the South West.
Glenn’s paintings can be described as modern realism seeking to create atmosphere and an appreciation of beauty in the natural world.”
