Artist’s Statement:

“In their Dorset Studio on the edge of the Purbecks, Ian and Gail produce unique, high-quality kiln-formed glass art using a range of techniques to generate incredible effects in their work. Every project is carefully thought-out in the way light, colour and form can influence each design and intensify its impact.
Together they conceive and create pieces that evoke a sense of movement and dynamic energy. Nature, with its organic shapes and harmonious palette, is a significant muse influencing the contours of each creation. Their contemporary designs embrace clean lines, bold geometry and a sophisticated interplay of colour, inspiring a modern aesthetic that captivates and endures.
They create bespoke works of art for commissions, kitchen and bathroom splashbacks, metal and glass sculptures for the garden and amazing window installations. They also produce a range of work from large stunning, wall panels to smaller bowls, platters, coasters and hangings including a range of glass and silver Jewellery.
They are Members of the Contemporary Glass Society with their sculptures on display at ‘The Cotswold Sculpture Park’ near Cirencester as well as holding successful Solo Exhibitions in Dorset in 2022 and 2023. They have had garden sculptures on display at Chelsea Flower Show”
