Artist’s Statement:

“I am Catherine Ramm and am a dried flower stylist working exclusively with dried and preserved flowers. I create floral decor for homes, weddings, venues and events. My work is rooted in the Dorset Countryside. I am deeply inspired by the rhythm of the seasons, the hedgerows, the fields and the quiet beauty of things that are often overlooked once they begin to fade.

I see dried flowers not as something past their best, but as something transformed. Each stem carries memory, texture and time. By preserving and styling these botanicals, I aim to create pieces that feel both nostalgic and contemporary – keepsakes rather than disposables.

Sustainability sits at the heart of everything I do. I work without floral foam and prioritise British grown and naturally dried materials , allowing the flowers to age gently rather than be forced into artificial perfection.

Though my installations, wreaths and arrangements I hope to invite people to pause, to notice and to reconnect with the quiet magic of the natural world. These are flowers not just to be seen, but be kept, remembered and lived with.”
