Artist’s Statement:

“My current work is drawn partly in pen and then coloured with coloured pencils- this is mainly so that I can draw whilst running my beautiful shop, The Town House, located in the heart of Corfe Castle, opposite the castle itself.
This, and the steam railway, are the inspiration for most of my work, realistic and whimsicle. Here my work is also available as teatowels, bags etc..
I trained in display and exhibition stand design at The College For The Distributive Trades, in London.
I then worked at Libertys in the display department which I loved.
Later I did gold and silversmithing at Harrow School of Art.
This was followed ,some years later, by studying ceramics at West Herts College and I then worked as a pottery therapist at the Brompton and Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals.
I did the last ever throwing course with David Leach at Aberystwyth.”
